Arshad is a finance leader with a passion for numbers and people. His career spans 16 years in business and financial management in both the private sector and Defence, with an emphasis on strategic business improvement, costing, financial reporting and budget management.
Arshad has shown an innovative and analytical approach to complex finance challenges through his 10 years of Defence experience. He has a strong understanding of key Defence governance structures and a comprehensive understanding of the Commonwealth financial framework and processes. Arshad also maintains extensive experience in stakeholder and compliance management across both the public and private sector.
Arshad has excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, the ability to influence business critical decisions and to formulate positive internal and external relationships.
