Ivana is a Fellow of CPA Australia with over 20 years’ experience providing accounting advisory services in a number of Commonwealth agencies and the private sector.
Ivana has held senior executive positions in Defence and has also worked with a host of smaller agencies, including Defence Materiel Organisation and Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation.
Through senior finance roles in Defence, Ivana brought a focus on financial management and technical authority across the capability life cycle, including overarching Government and Defence policy, Integrated Investment Program costing policy framework, end-to-end assurance across capability development, and financial oversight and management of acquisition and sustainment programs across various stages of the project life cycle.
Ivana held various executive level positions supporting Navy, Security and Estate Group, along with a senior executive position supporting Air Force, providing high-level strategic advice and guidance relating to all aspects of a complex budget of approximately $9 billion, while promoting sound financial management and delivery of service.
Ivana has extensive experience providing high-level advisory to senior Defence personnel to support the progress of capability development proposals while achieving a balance against Defence’s strategic priorities.
