Kah Yang is an accountant and auditor with over 25 years’ experience providing financial statements, internal audits and consultancy to private and government sectors in Australia and overseas.
Highly motivated and client-driven, Kah Yang has an excellent track record in leading significant audits and reviews of government and private entities. He has provided assurance and audit services to the Australian National Audit Office, Australian National University, Department of Defence, ACT Health and several other private and not-for-profit entities, including private schools and colleges. He has worked internationally for Ernst & Young, PricewaterhouseCoopers and RSM Australia – providing financial services to companies in the manufacturing, engineering and hospitality sectors.
Kah Yang’s experience is underpinned by his extensive knowledge of the Australian Accounting Standards and Australian Auditing Standards. He also has a detailed understanding of various Australian reporting frameworks, such as the Public Governance, Performance and Accountability Act (2013), the Corporations Act (2001), the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profits Commission Act (2012) and the Associations Incorporation Act (2009).
