Among a successful and industry-spanning career of specialised roles, Scott has conducted pioneering research for the Munitions industry, and been critically involved in world-leading technology developments in host-terminal systems, data encryption and data transmission in the IT & Financial Services industries.
Scott is also highly experienced in field operations having conducted mine-shutdown engineering maintenance, and remote-area mineral exploration operations, in the Queensland Mining industry. He has provided operational services to the Maritime industry and the Northern Territory government, including fleet maintenance and operational crewing, training development, search & rescue operations, and the coordination of joint-agency training exercises.
Scott holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with first class honours, commercial mariner certifications in deck & engineering, industrial trainer/assessor qualifications, and trade licenses and certificates in several industrial disciplines.
