Annette is a management consultant who has worked for, and consulted to, the Commonwealth Government and within the not-for-profit (NFP) sector for over 20 years.
Annette began her career in the NFP sector, supporting organisations towards financial independence and sustainability through, among other things, business improvement, efficiency and prudent financial management. She then worked for Defence Housing Australia, managing corporate shared services and business improvement initiatives, before moving into management consulting.
As a management consultant, Annette has worked for several federal government agencies and departments, including Geoscience Australia, Department of Veterans Affairs, IP Australia, the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, and the Department of Defence. In this fast-paced, multi-vendor environment she has learnt to exercise a high level of discretion and has honed excellent organisational and time management skills.
From business process redesign and improvement, to change management, submission drafting and review, operational and project-based contract management, stakeholder engagement – whatever the task, Annette is able to leverage her expertise to drive business performance improvement. Wherever the corporate delivery areas of government need improving most, she has the committee and secretariat navigational tools to make it happen.
