Marg is a communications and marketing specialist, with wide experience in public and private sectors and federal and territory governments. She is experienced in brand management, stakeholder engagement, developing and delivering integrated marketing strategies and marketing product, and creating website and social media content.
Marg’s diverse career began as a primary school teacher. She has delivered communication strategies in roles as Marketing Manager, Environment ACT; Online Marketing Manager, National Archives of Australia; and Stakeholder Engagement Manager, International Education, at Austrade. Her Austrade role included the international marketing and promotion of Australian education and training. Marg developed strong stakeholder relationships, leading a team to identify quality international education opportunities and timely market intelligence to disseminate to the Australian education sector.
Marg is highly motivated and driven. She has owned and operated her own successful tour business winning significant awards, is a freelance writer and has researched, written and published three editions of a guidebook to Canberra, Canberra Secrets.
