Mark started his career serving in the Royal Australian Navy as an Electronics Technician, Combat Systems streamed. Mark primarily served time on the Navy’s Hydrographic Survey vessels where he was responsible for the ongoing operation of all primary mission systems.
Mark then moved on to sustain a variety of electronic equipment in various environments. Mark has worked in offshore oil and gas, maximum security prisons, police stations and financial institutes on complex electronic systems.
Mark holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Mechatronics, with Honours, and has recently assisted Defense in technically certifying a complex legacy capability, allowing it to be formally accepted into service.
Mark is currently studying a Master of Engineering Management, building upon his extensive managerial experience, while diversifying his Systems Engineering experience within Defense.
Mark’s extensive electronic experience allows him to evaluate and understand complex systems and communicate needed improvements to stakeholders.
