Ashlea is a highly skilled user experience (UX) and Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) leader with over 12 years of experience.
With a background in industrial design, Ashlea has enjoyed a diverse career specialising in user research. She has worked in the public and private sectors in both consulting and in-house roles and has also collaborated in the international startup space. Ashlea has led countless large scale user research projects, getting to the heart of user needs, wants and goals to enable designers and businesses to craft more meaningful user experiences.
Ashea is a proud late diagnosed autistic woman who has held numerous local and national level D&I leadership positions in the consulting and ICT industries. She is currently serving as an advisory board member on the Australian Computer Society’s (ACS) National Diversity & Inclusion Council (NDIC). A keynote speaker and accomplished writer, Ashlea is a well respected thought leader in both the UX and D&I spaces and has shared her stories on stage in Australia and overseas.
As People & Culture Lead, Ashlea focuses internally on the staff experience offered to our people here at Parbery. She is deeply committed to researching, designing and delivering genuinely human workplace experiences, driven by evidence-based design decisions that are inclusive, supportive, equitable and accessible to all.
