Project Controls Lead

Rae is a cost estimator and integrated project controls specialist with 15 years’ experience working for, and consulting to, the federal government and non-government organisations in a range of project costing and financial roles.

Rae has worked as a consultant into the Australian Department of Defence, and within Defence Industry as a Commercial Estimating and Pricing Lead. She understands the challenges and risks inherent in Defence projects from both the customer and supplier perspectives. Rae also has a keen appreciation for the importance of robust project controls and project management methodology and has underpinned her experience with professional training in cost estimation, project management, and workplace training and assessment.

Rae specialises in cost estimation and pricing, cost and risk analysis, integrated project controls (cost, risk and schedule), project baseline management, financial modelling, tender responses and evaluations, and activity-based costing. She is experienced using a range of cost, risk and schedule tools and techniques to support informed decision making throughout the project lifecycle.
