Robert Tonkin is a part of Parbery’s expanding engineering presence; and growing presence in South Australia. Robert has over 30 years of engineering experience working across several domains including Defence, oil and gas, and automotive and general manufacturing.
Robert has significant management system development, problem-solving and quality assurance expertise. He has been involved in a diverse range of significant organisations like Holden and Mitsubishi, within the Submarines Branch of the DMO, Submarine Escape and Rescue and Divex products at JFD, Navantia Australia, and at BAE Systems. He thrives on developing robust continuous improvement cultures in the organisations he has worked at. Robert has developed and implemented complete Quality, Safety and Environmental Management Systems in a number of organisations.
